We spottet them on a big grassland
next to the road to Åsige.
When they heard the car coming
they tried to hide in the short grass.
But then the male Pheasant decided to
initiate a distruction maneuver
to protect the female...
What a gentleman!
;-)
He took off so fast that I had
a hard time following with my lens,
still sitting in the car.
I took a chance over my shoulder and
was really surprised that about the result
because I was pretty sure I had missed him...

:)
