he gets prettier every time i look. and he's just gonna get better: ) i love his sable coloring, his strong back and his tail. and his expression. these are the very best dogs. how i wish i could have another someday as good as my first and only.
just yesterday in the aldi parking lot i saw a GSD in the back of a car and we made eye contact and just stared at each other. i said "gosh you're beautiful" and wanted so badly to touch him. the owner came back to the car and unlocked it but the dog wouldn't break his gaze with me. it was really something, like he knew.
whenever i see someone walking a GSD i drop to my knees in front of it and hold out my hands like "can i please touch you?" and surprisingly, usually they say yes. (and i wonder how many of the owners think i'm insane!)
What a handsome guy! It's such fun watching him grow up. :)
